Fake moles depicting a full six horses and carriage galloped across an infamous duchess' face. Five-foot-wide hoop skirts would catch on fire or flip upside down like discarded umbrellas at the slightest breeze. Deadly Nightshade was dripped into eyes to dilute the pupils. Collars were so expansive that eighteen-inch spoons were invented just so that the wearer was capable of eating. And so the list goes on...
 
In this analysis of fashion trends among the aristocracy for the past 400 years, the discrepancies of the lower class are exposed through the ludicrous amounts of money and extravagant fabric that the upper class would pile upon themselves. As a playful take on this retrospective, the various types of clothes have been siphoned into three separate categories, enabling the viewer to rearrange the cards and create figures that meld vastly different fashion time frames together.
